Victim of fake news is Willie Revillame and he has this warning to them.
WILLIE REVILLAME – Kapuso game show host Willie Revillame expressed warning to those who spread fake news about him online.
Social media has definitely became a part of out everyday life. This platform is what we use to get updates and share our life’s highlights. However, instead of being a place to get legit news and reports, some abusive users use this to spread fake news which, in most cases, can spread fear to many people.
And one of the recent victims is Willie Revillame who called out those who made it to him on social media. The game show host expressed his warning to fake news peddlers in fear that this might cause misunderstanding and public alarm given his celebrity status.
In his show, he showed the screen shots of the edited statements he made regarding the help he sent to Typhoon Ulysses victims. In the true and original statement, he said that it is the right time to let go of things he doesn’t use to be able to help. While in the fake statement, it directed to President Rodrigo Duterte which looked like an attack to him.
He firmly denied this in national television as he doesn’t want this to cause any conflict or misunderstanding with the president. He said, “Kung sino ka man, pinapahanap ka na namin. Wala kayong ginawa kundi manira ng kapwa n’yo. Baka magalit sa akin ang Pangulo.”
As much as we are all aware of, he sold one of his luxury cars for Php 7 million and another one he bought for Php 35 million which he is even more willing to sell for half of its price.
