PWD Man Donates His Savings to Victims of Typhoon Ulysses

A PWD man, a stroke patient from Antipolo City donated his hard-earned cash to the victims of Typhoon Ulysses in Marikina City.

A Facebook user named Jazz Pher Justo has shared the inspiring photos of a kind-hearted PWD man who donated the cash he earned through begging. The photos garnered praises and admiration from the online community.

The disabled man identified as Mang Romy is a stroke patient who lives in Brgy. Mambugan Antipolo City. He personally went to Marikina City Hall to deliver his donations to Mayor Marcy Teodoro.

Mang Romy earned the money through begging along the road for his daily expenses and cost of living. Several pieces of plastics containing coins and paper bills reached a total amount of P12,390.

The stroke patient has decided to donate his money to the victims of Typhoon Ulysses in Marikina City whose houses and possessions have been washed out by the severe flooding last week instead of using it to sustain his necessities.

The kind-hearted man gesture’s proves that the Bayanihan spirit and faith in humanity remains alive amidst the pandemic and calamities.

Si Mang Romy ay isang PWD (Stroke Patient) na taga Brgy. Mambugan Antipolo City nagtungo sa Cityhall ng Marikina upang personal na i-abot kay Mayor Marcy Teodoro ang kanyang nahingi sa panlilimos sa kalsada na nagkakahalagang P12,390. Imbes na para sa kanyang mga pangangailangan ilaan gastusin ito, bagkus ito ay kanyang ibinigay para sa mga taga Marikina na nasalanta ng Bàgyong Ulyssès. 💕
