Actor Xian Lim shared this post on his Instagram story, is this for the insensitive comment of journalist Arnold Clavio?
In a previous report, Arnold, along with radio co-host Ali Sotto who are questioning why victims of typhoon Ulysses have remained at their area even though they already knew that they are in a flood-prone location.
“Ba’t andiyan pa rin kayo na alam niyong lubog na kayo?” Arnold said. Because of this, the online community fired back at the journalist and his co-host on DZBB.
In the recent IG Story of Xian Lim, he shared that the house of his mother was also flooded. He shared a video of the streets while he’s on the way to his mother’s house.
“Masisisi mo ba ang mga taong nakatira sa nasalantang lugar kung bakit hindi pa rin sila nadadala?” he wrote. Then, Xian said that those victims might have no other place to go.
Just like other celebrities, Xian also expressed that he is praying for all the victims amid this crisis.
The next post of the actor was a reminder. He encouraged helping one another as this can be the only thing everybody can do.
“Let’s work together to rebuild and be there for one another. Huwag na tayong umasa pa sa iba. Tulungan ang sarili. Tulungan ang kapwa,” Xian Lim stressed.
Meanwhile, Xian just recently shared a house tour video featuring his home in Antipolo. He said that he likes mixing ideas for his home. “I kind of like mixing the whole place up. Ayoko ‘yung parang modern lang tayo [or] eclectic lang. Gusto ko ‘yung halo-halo ‘yung mga bagay, eh,” the actor said.
