Wentworth Millers Says ‘Prison Break’ Season 6 Won’t Happen

PRISON BREAK – American actor Wentworth Miller said Season 6 won’t be happening and he won’t return to the show.

American serial drama tv series Prison Break is one of the most tension-filled and exciting tv shows around. The hit series revolves around 2 brothers Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) and Lincoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell).

The first two seasons were filled with great characters and impressive storylines. There are prison riots and violence in every corner but the brothers always manage to get away with it.

The tragic death and close calls of the show are enough to get anyone’s heart racing. Last September, Dominic Purcell confirmed that season 6 is on the way in an IG post. The last season was aired in 2017.

In a post on his Instagram account last November 8, Wentworth Miller announced Prison Break will not be coming back to television. He won’t be appearing if season 6 happens. He said he “just don’t want to play straight characters.”

“I’m out. Of PB. Officially. Not bec [because] of static on social media (although that has centered the issue). I just don’t want to play straight characters. Their stories have been told (and told).

“So. No more Michael. If you were a fan of the show, hoping for additional seasons… I understand this is disappointing. I’m sorry.”

“If you’re hot and bothered bec [because] you fell in love with a fictional straight man played by a real gay one…”
