The video footage of the terrifying situation inside a mall in Polangui, Albay during the devastation of Typhoon Rolly circulates online.
Over the past few days, Typhoon Rolly becomes one of the most trending topics on social media after hitting several parts of the country. It has been dubbed as the strongest typhoon of the year.
Rolly is also considered as the strongest tropical cyclone to hit the country after Typhoon Yolanda (Haiyan) hits the Philippines in 2013.
The Twitter page “Manila Bulletin News” has shared the video footage of the horrendous situation inside of a mall during Typhoon Rolly’s wrath. The video garnered various reactions from the netizens.
In the video, it can be seen that debris were scattered along the hall way of a mall. The ferocious typhoon causes violent wind blowing the debris inside the shopping mall and ruined some portions of the building.
In the end of the video, the social media users who were filming the incident showed their face on the camera amid the devastation of Rolly in Albay on Sunday (November 1, 2020).
