Donald Glover Welcomes 3rd Child During COVID-19 Pandemic

DONALD GLOVER – American rapper Donald Glover revealed he had a son during the COVID-19 pandemic.

American singer, rapper, and actor Donald Glover performs his music under the stage name Childish Gambino. In his acting career, he has appeared in several successful films including Magic Mike XXL, The Lazarus Effect, The Martian, and Spider-Man Homecoming.

The 37-year-old celebrity also provided the voice of adult Simba in the remake of the hit Disney movie “The Lion King.” Donald is famously private but during his conversation with actress Michaela Coel for GQ Magazine, he revealed that he welcomed a son during the pandemic.

Based on a report from CNN, Donald Glover casually shared the wonderful news by saying, “You know, I had (a kid) during the coronavirus. I was in the hospital bed. My son had just been born, like, an hour before and I was watching the George Floyd video. It was such a weird moment.”

Donald Glover described his experience as “nuts.” He shared he named his son after his father who passed away recently. He announced the death of his dad Donald Glover Sr. during his concert in 2018.

“It was such a weird moment. It was such an intense, weird moment, because I’m watching that video and it’s like eight minutes long, so you’re sitting there and I had just had this amazing, joyful, expanding moment, plus my dad had passed away recently, so (my son) was named after my father… I don’t even know what, really, the word is to describe it. It was just expanding: the empathy and compassion and the terror and the joy of it.”

According to the report, the Emmy-winning actor has 2 young sons with his partner Michelle White.
