CASSY LEGASPI – Carmina and Zoren Legaspi’s daughter talks about body positivity and her realizations about this in her first ever vlog.
Amid the pandemic, a lot of video bloggers have been “born” may it be a celebrity or a viral internet personality. And one of them is Cassy Legaspi, a celebrity, model, and daughter of married celebrity couple Carmina and Zoren Legaspi.
She juggles her schedule in showbiz and school works and still manage to achieve honors in school along with her twin Mavy. Aside from being honor students and being celebrities, they are also varsity players where Cassy played for her school’s volleyball team while Mavy shoots hoops for their basketball team.
And realizing it’s time to finally do a vlog after many people encouraged her to do so, Cassy did a “Question and Answer” sit down vlog for her first update in order for people and her subscribers know her better. One question is she was asked some tips about body positivity.
And accordingly, she had a lot of things to say. She shared that she just changed her perspective about this and told other people to do the same because it wasn’t all about the “aesthetics” that make someone be “perfect”. It took her a long time before settling to a better outlook and she asserted, “Body positivity is supposed to be celebrating what your body can do for you.”
One’s legs can be bigger compared to others but it can serve all the same purpose and that is to walk you to your destination. The 9-year-old performer stressed that it only needs for one person to be “thankful for the body that you have” and “for the body that God blessed you with”. It is accordingly about focusing on your well-being rather than pointing out the flaws.
