Security Guard Reading Law Books Receives New Book from Kind Lawyer
A hardworking security guard reading law books to become a law someday received a new book from a kind-hearted lady lawyer.
A Facebook user named Keij Ejercito has shared the photo of a security guard who spent his leisure time reading books about law. She gave him a book to expand his academic knowledge. The post earns praise from the netizens.
Keij narrated that she usually saw the security guard identified as Johnny Abbang reading law books. The guard also asked some clarificatory questions about the law after learning that she is a lawyer.
Ejercito said that Abbang wants to enroll at law school but he can’t afford the tuition fee yet so he is just reading law books for the mean time. He also asked Keij about the new rules of court.
The kind-hearted lawyer has decided to buy a little gift for the guard. She gave him the new ROC Codal with Abbang’s name engraved on it. She is also hoping that the guard’s determination would serve as an inspiration towards other students.

Since I moved in here sa condo, ilang beses ko na syang nakitang nagbabasa ng law books during his idle time. When he found out that I’m a lawyer, he started asking clarificatory questions na kapag dumadaan ako. Minsan nagugulat na lang ako kasi parang may pa-recit si Sir! 😅 That’s how we became close. 😊
Sir Abbang plans to enrol in a law school. Pero sa ngayon, hindi pa yata kaya. Kaya sabi nya magbabasa-basa muna sya. Kung studyante pa siguro ako, mahihiya tlaga ako sa sipag nyang mag-aral. At mahiya tayo, umabot na sa Remedial Law ang binabasa nya a. Hindi talaga ako magtataka if one day, he tops the bar. Sobrang nakakatuwa sya talaga. 😊
Two weeks ago, he confirmed with me kung totoong may bagong Rules of Court na, so sabi ko, meron na nga. Luma pa kasi yata yung binabasa nya. Kaya ito, i surprised him with my little gift – the new ROC Codal with his name engraved on it and a note “para sa future abogado ng bayan”. 😊
