Poor Lalamove Rider Loses P3,000 After Victimized by Fake Booking

The heartbreaking photos of a poor Lalamove rider lost P3,000 after victimized by a fake booking are now circulating online.

A lot of delivery riders have been expressing their disappointment due to cancellation of orders and fake bookings over the past few years. The delivery workers usually lost money whenever a customer cancels order.

A Facebook user named Esoj Serrano has shared the heartbreaking photos of a disappointed delivery rider victimized by a fake booking. The post garnered various reactions from the online community.

Serrano said that the Lalamove worker paid an additional P3, 000 for the cellphone order of his customer. Eventually, he discovered that the parcel contains a stone instead of a mobile phone (Huawei Y6P).

The concerned netizen advised the delivery riders to check the item first and the identity of customer for assurance. He also expressed his sympathy for the rider for losing money due to the fake booking.
