PAGASA – Here are the following latest updates from the state weather bureau PAGASA, on this day, September 8, 2020 (Tuesday).

The early morning forecast from the state weather bureau said that the Intertropical Convergence Zone or ITCZ will be affecting Mindanao on this day.

According to GMA News, Mindanao and Western Visayas will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to ITCZ. The bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will face partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms. Again, the bureau warned that flash floods or landslides may occur especially during severe thunderstorms.

Based on the report, for the wind speed forecast, northern and central Luzon will have light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to southeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.

Visayas and the rest of Luzon will also have light to moderate winds that are moving in the east to southeast direction while facing slight to moderate coastal waters.

Mindanao will have light winds that are moving in the southeast to various directions while facing slight coastal waters.
