Daniel Padilla’s Barber Shop Business Affected by COVID-19 Pandemic
DANIEL PADILLA – The young Kapamilya actor revealed the real situation of his barber shop business amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
The COVID-19 pandemic has affected several businesses in the Philippines. Unfortunately, many businesses were not able to survive the month-long quarantine measures which are implemented to curb the spread of the disease.
Employers continued paying for rents and the other expenses without income. It eventually led to the filing of bankruptcy and several employees also lost their work amid the crisis.
Aside from the crisis, those who are working under the ABS-CBN Network faced another huge challenge – the shutting down of the network. The House Franchise Committee did not grant its bid for a fresh 25-year franchise.
Both the celebrities and the ordinary employees were affected by the shutting down of the ABS-CBN Network. Some famous personalities got businesses but these were also affected by the pandemic.
Daniel Padilla is one of the celebrities with a business. He is one of the owners of a barber shop, the Barbero Blues, which has branches in SM North EDSA and SM Fairview.
The 25-year-old actor co-owns the said business with several other people including his girlfriend, actress Kathryn Bernardo, his mom Karla Estrada, and Kathryn’s mom Min Bernardo.

In a video posted by Star Magic, Daniel Padilla admitted the real situation of his business amid the COVID-19 pandemic. According to him, there were employees who lost their job as the business cannot support them amid the pandemic. He received a video from one of his co-owners that they have no clients amid the pandemic.
Meanwhile, despite the challenges, Daniel is determined to continue improving their business. He wanted it to become a brand thus their team is checking on what they can do about it. Here’s the video:
