Tricycle Driver Gets Into Accident Due to Face Shield
ROAD ACCIDENT – A certain tricycle driver on the island of Boracay gets into a road accident due to face shield.
Previously, the Department of Transportation advised the commuters and drivers of public utility vehicles to wear face shields aside from face mask. The measure aims to prevent the further spread of the coronavirus disease.
However, several residents were uncomfortable wearing face shields for allegedly causing inconvenience with their movements.
A 28-year-old trike driver has been involved in a road accident after using face shield while driving. The unidentified driver said that he find it uncomfortable and blurry wearing the face shield while driving.
The man initially thought that he has enough distance to apply the brake but he was shocked after realizing that he was about to hit the vehicle. The driver immediately applied brake but one of his fingers on his feet has been trapped at the break.

The victim immediately asked for medical attention after the accident. The Boracay Fire Rescue and Volunteers, Inc. respond and rushed the man to the nearest health center in the area for treatment.
