Man Beats Former Live-In Partner Inside Boutique in Quezon City
A woman was left injured and traumatized after her former live-in partner allegedly attacked her inside a boutique in Barangay Bahay Toro, Quezon City.
According to the victim, the suspect suddenly rushed toward her and began assaulting her while she was inside the store on Tuesday afternoon. (May 5, 2026). CCTV footage reportedly showed the man dragging, punching, and repeatedly hurting the victim during the incident.
The woman also claimed that the suspect used speakers inside the boutique to hit her. The victim shared that the suspect appeared to have disguised himself before carrying out the attack.
The victim explained that he was initially wearing a mask and had changed his appearance, making him difficult to recognize at first. However, during the middle of the assault, he allegedly removed the mask, revealing his identity.
The woman said she could not think of any clear reason why the suspect attacked her because they had already separated peacefully last year. Still, she revealed that during their nine years together, this was not the first time he had physically hurt her.
She also believes the attack may have been planned because of the suspect’s attempt to hide his appearance before approaching her. The victim had only recently returned from Japan before the incident happened.
Aside from the pain and injuries she suffered, the woman admitted that she now feels constant fear and anxiety. She explained that the suspect knows her usual movements and possible addresses, making her worried for her safety whenever she goes outside.
“Ang sakit po ng katawan ko ngayon at tsaka ng ulo ko kasi ang dami kong bukol. Pero mas nakakaramdam po ako ng takot kasi every time na lalabas ako baka bigla na lang niya ako saksakin,” the victim said.
The victim has already filed a complaint against the suspect. Authorities from the Quezon City Police District confirmed that an investigation is ongoing regarding the incident. Police are also preparing a separate complaint related to violence against women.
