Pedicab Driver Puts Makeshift Face Shield On His Dog

PEDICAB DRIVER – A pedicab driver put face shield on his pet to protect her from coronavirus disease.

Health officials advised the public to wear face masks and face shields to prevent the transmission of 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) disease. Governments across the globe urged its citizens to follow health protocols amid the pandemic.

People are also buying or creating face masks or face shields for their pets. They put miniature facemask or face shield on their pets during their stroll. The World Health Organization (WHO) advises people to wash their hands after contact with their pets to halt the spread of any disease that can pass between humans and animals.

Recently, a pedicab driver and his pet dog were featured on Philippine Star. The pedicab driver created a makeshift face shield for his pet dog “Marian.” The two were spotted in Divisoria, Manila on Thursday, August 13.

People in face masks and face shields are a familiar sight amid the pandemic and as cases increase around the globe. Now, animal lovers are making sure that their beloved pets are covered as well.
