Dina Bonnevie admitted that she misjudged JM Ibarra
Veteran actress Dina Bonnevie had the chance to work with Kapamilya loveteam partners JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith.
Dina is one of the cast members of the new Kapamilya series Love Is Never Gone, featuring the tandem of Joshua Garcia and Ivan Alawi. In a recent interview, Dina shared her experience working with Fyang and JM.
Based on the article in PEP, in the series, Dina plays the character of Katarina Verona, the mother of Fyang’s character. Dina gushed over her bond with Fyang whom she calls “susurit.”
“Wala naman meaning ang susurit. Maliit kasi na makulit na makulit. Love na love ko si Fyang. Tinatawag ko nga siyang ‘my little shrimpy’ kasi ang hilig niya sa shrimp,” the veteran actress shared.
On the other hand, Dina Bonnevie had a different comment about JM Ibarra. She honestly revealed that she questioned what Fyang saw with JM because of the veteran actress, the young acto was like “dugyot.”
However, Dina’s perception changed when the loveteam partners guested oon House of D, her YouTube talk show.
“Tapos nung nag-guest siya sa HOD, sabi niya [Fyang], ‘Momma, si JM!’ “JM?’ Ang pogi pala niya,” the veteran actress revealed.
Dina apologized because when she first saw JM, he looked so different. The veteran actress shared that she found out that JM’s skin had to be darkened for the series.
“Iniitiman pala siya [sa Love is Never Gone] tapos nilalagyan siya ng wig na red na mahabang buhok, na ‘Anong itsura ng dugyot na ‘to?’ Pinapadumi pala siya kasi nga mahirap siya,” she shared.
Later on, Ms. D realized that JM is indeed handsome with smooth skin. She also noticed that the young actor is shy type. The veteran actress was sorry that she judged JM.
“E, since hindi ko naman siya nakakaeksena, kasi dun siya sa poor house, dito kami sa rich, so yun na ang ano ko sa kanya. E, noong nag-story conference, naka-red din siya na hair extensions,” Dina Bonnevie shared.
