Woman warned netizens about fake Shopee rider pretending to deliver order at night
A concerned netizen exposed the fake Shopee rider who attempts to deliver the parcel to her house at night despite curfew hours and standard working hours.
Courier riders usually deliver your parcel or package within the normal working hours, which is from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. as they have a quota to finish within the day. If delivery was scheduled for your house pass the normal working hours, that could be a strange event to face.
In the Facebook post of lady netizen named Ariza Areth Alamil, she shared a strange delivery schedule of an alleged Shopee rider. According to her post, on August 9, around 8:44 PM, she received a text from a Shopee rider saying that he was outside their house.
Fortunately, she did not go out because she was already suspicious. She claimed that is her first time to experience that someone would deliver at that time.
The next morning, his father confirms that there was a man who was riding a motorcycle yesterday and waiting outside their house. Fortunately, she knows there are many modus at this time.

Wondering that there is also a curfew, she said she was not sure if the deliveries included the curfew. She also checked her Shopee account and said there’s no expected delivery.
So she suspected that the rider is fake and probably had bad intentions when she faces him. She also shared a CCTV footage of the man. He was wearing only shorts and slippers, he looked really far from the real rider.
She went to a Facebook page for a chance to ask a legitimate Shopee rider and learned that their service is until 8 p.m. only. She compared the text from Shopee to the one who texted him last night.
The two riders have different formats. It does not use standard text. After that, she confirmed that the man waiting outside of their and pretending to deliver a parcel to her was fake.
