Cebu City LSIs May Go Home To Their Provinces Beginning August
CEBU CITY LSIS – The Locally Stranded Individuals in Cebu City will be allowed to go home starting August.
The COVID-19 pandemic has brought a lot of changes to several nations – including the Philippines which has recorded over 85,000 cases now. Currently, the quarantine measures are up in the country.
It was last December 2019 when China recorded its first case of this coronavirus disease. Starting January 2020, several other nations confirmed cases of the deadly disease.
In PH, the wearing of a face mask is now a protocol. Several provincial and city government released orders containing penalties for those who will be caught without a face mask.

Furthermore, social distancing is also practiced. Even the public vehicles had to reduce their capacity to exhibit social distancing as part of the efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19.
Cebu City is the latest epicenter of COVID-19 disease in the Philippines. It was placed back to the Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) to prevent the spread of the disease.
Several people were stranded due to the quarantine measure implemented. Meanwhile, based on a report on ABS-CBN News, the Cebu City LSIs will be allowed to go home starting August 1.
There are many of them who struggled as measures were came before they can go home. Based on the report, one of them is a pregnant woman who is about to give birth in two (2) months. She’s emotional over their situation at the port.
The Cebu City LSIs will also be given a P1,000.00 allowance each when they go home. The IATF in Cebu also assured that protocols will be observed.
