ETHEL BOOBA – “Tawag Ng Tanghalan” celebrity champion Ethel Booba chided people who critical about Anti-Terror Bill and mass testing.
A known supporter of President Rodrigo Duterte, comedienne and singer Ethel Booba speaks about the critics of Anti-Terror Bill and the demand of many people to conduct a mass testing due to the pandemic. The female celebrity chided people who are critical over the present administration.
In her Twitter post, she talked about the Anti-Terror Bill, mass testing, and among other issues that many people complain about but were not able to follow simple health protocols. She mockingly said, “Pero simpling social distancing at manahimik muna sa bahay di nyo masunod ano to superhero ang datingan di tinatablan si superman nga teh nasa bahay lang ayaw mahawa at makahawa. Happy?”
The controversy over anti-terror bill is that people in position might just abuse this law and just point anyone who are critical of the present administration as guilty. Duterte signed this and became a law despite widespread opposition. The Philippine Anti-Terrorism Act of 2020 amends the 2007 Human Security Act.
Meanwhile, regarding the mass testing, many people have been crying for this to happen but the government is honest enough to admit that they cannot afford to test everyone due to financial restrictions.
In a previous article, the City of Manila has already begun their operations for free coronavirus drive-through testing site. People in their private vehicles lined up to avail a rapid testing where the result will be out after an hour which can also be sent to you through email, text, or call.
