ANGEL LOCSIN – Filipina actress Angel Locsin launched new initiative to provide mass testing in the country.

Darna‘ actress Angel Locsin is one of the most popular actresses in the Philippines. Aside from being a celebrity, she is also known for her philanthropic work. In fact, ‘Forbes Asia‘ named her as one of the ‘Heroes of Philanthropy.’

The 35-year-old actress is among the celebrities who quickly responds in times of calamities and crisis. Her selfless actions towards her countrymen gained her lots of admirers.

During the 2019 novel coronavirus crisis, Angel Locsin launched a crowdfunding campaign called #UnitentWeStandPH. Her initiative aims to provide more isolation tents in COVID-19 hospitals. Her friends from the entertainment industry like Solenn Heussaff, Nico Bolzico, and Anne Curtis help her with her campaign.

On Monday, May 18, she took to her Instagram account to announced that she has launched a new initiative that aims to raise funds for COVID-19 test kits for less-fortunate Filipinos.

The prominent actress wanted to provide mass testing nationwide. Angel called her new initiative “Shop and Share.” In the caption, she also encourages her fellow celebs to participate in her initiative to fight the spread of the coronavirus in the country.
