Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea Undergoes COVID-19 Testing; Result Now Out
EXECUTIVE SECRETARY SALVADOR MEDIALDEA – The coronavirus or COVID-19 test result of the Executive Secretary was released.
The COVID-19 disease spares no one. Although it is known that those individuals with pre-existing health conditions and the senior citizens are the most susceptible to the coronavirus disease, it can infect even the healthy ones.
In the Philippines, the Department of Health (DOH) has already recorded 70,764 cases of coronavirus already with 1,837 deaths and 23,281 recoveries. The country remains under community quarantine measures now.
This coronavirus disease exhibit symptoms similar to the signs of flu. However, there are also asymptomatic cases or cases wherein patients show no symptoms at all.
Several personalities in the Philippine showbiz industry tested positive for COVID-19. There are also government employees and even politicians who contracted the said disease.

Among those who recently tested positive for COVID-19 are members of the Presidential Security Group (PSG) assigned to Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.

Following the PSG men assigned to him testing positive for coronavirus, Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea was also tested for COVID-19. Based on a report on GMA News, his result is negative.
PSG Colonel Commander Jesus Durante III was the one who confirmed to dzBB that the Executive Secretary tested negative for COVID-19. Those PSG men who tested positive for the disease are now under quarantine.
The PSG personnel are asymptomatic. Tracing of those individuals they had contact with is ongoing now.
