Update on Pres. Duterte’s SONA 2020 At Batasang Pambansa this July 27
DUTERTE SONA 2020 – Malacañang gave an update on President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s State of the Nation Address this July 27, 2020.
Every year, the President delivers a State of the Nation Address or more popularly called as SONA. It usually contains the achievements and aspirations of the administration.
The SONA is an annual report where the President also gives update on certain campaigns. In the previous SONA of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte, he never failed to talk about the war against drugs which is one of the staunch campaigns of his administration.
Pres. Duterte is set to deliver his SONA for this year next Monday, July 27. It will be held at Batasang Pambansa.

However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic now, there are many queries regarding the Duterte SONA 2020. Many are curious as to whether or not the President will deliver his speech physically or through a televised video.
Recently, Malacañang gave an update on Duterte SONA 2020. Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque confirmed that Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte will deliver his speech physically on July 27 at Batasang Pambansa.
According to Roque, the rehearsal for the upcoming national event has already been schedule. Also, based on the report, the preparation is also ongoing.
With regards to the other things related to the event, there are still no further information. More updates may be posted soon.
