Jay Sonza has his controversial revelations about Gabby Lopez on Facebook.
GABBY LOPEZ – Chairman emeritus of ABS-CBN Corporation is the businessman Gabby Lopez and Jay Sonza has this revelation about him.
Among the most discussed topic during the hearings for the franchise renewal application of ABS-CBN is the citizenship of chairman emeritus Gabby Lopez. In a previous article, the Department of Justice (DOJ) Justice Undersecretary Emmeline Aglipay-Villar confirmed that he is truly a Filipino because both of his parents are Filipino.
However, despite proving their innocence over the issues and accusations, their bid to have a new franchise wasn’t approved for 70 lawmakers decided for them to officially shut down and junk their bid. After the rejection, Jay Sonza, a known critic of the some of the country’s issues, claimed something controversial about the chairman.
Accordingly, Lopez has already sold his shares in the company in late 2019 and in March 2020. The claim seemingly implies that Lopez has already seen the network having no chance to grab another 25-year legislative franchise.
He shared, “Ayon sa mismong report ng kumpanya, last part ng 2019 naidispatsa na pala ni American Citizen gabby lopez ang lahat ng kanyang shares of stocks sa Lopez Holdings. And by March 2020, weeks before the franchise hearing, gabby has ZERO part in the company that owns 49% of ABS CBN Broadcasting Corporation.”
Mocking, he wrote in another post asking what happened to thousands of employees who got fooled by their “vanished” ship captain.
Sonza is a former newscaster and talk show host. He tried to run for a public post but both lost the bid. His programs included Ito Ang Balita, Balitang Balita, Saksi, Tapatan With Jay Sonza, Mel and Jay, and many others.
