Comedienne Pokwang confirmed that she will be leaving ABS-CBN, her former home network that is facing the issue of franchise renewal.

When this issue became louder early this year, Pokie is one of the Kapamilya talents who showed support for the TV giant. However, intrigue came along the way when Eat Bulaga host Paolo Ballesteros announced that the comedienne will be their guest on Bawal Judgmental segment.

With that, speculations about her network transfer surfaced. However, her exclusive contract with the Kapamilya network was recalled and it was said that this will end next year.

Despite that issue, the guesting of Pokwang on the longest-running noontime show in the Kapuso network trended on social media. Some said that she looked so comfortable throwing banter with the hosts of Eat Bulaga.

On the other hand, the comedienne is still as vocal as even in showing her support for ABS-CBN amid the franchise renewal issue. She even shared a post on Instagram about #VoteYestoABSCBN.

However, based on the article from Abante Pokie appeared to be confirming her network transfer when Instagram user @misspendon commented this “mukat mukat makikita mo si Pokwang nasa kabilang istasyon na.”

Pokie replied to the said netizen that it is true. She revealed that she already asked permission to ABS-CBN last year that she will transferring. On the other hand, the comedienne said that she was not permitted by the bosses to leave.
