What’s Pokwang’s reaction to crowned Miss Universe 2001 title?
Comedienne Pokwang is the crowned Miss Universe 2001, according to Wikipedia, and this received a reaction from her.
The Philippines is known to have four crowned Miss Universe and they are Gloria Diaz, Margie Moran, Pia Wurtzbach, and Catriona Gray. However, it appeared that the list is incomplete, at least according to the online encyclopedia.
The said site can easily be edited by millions of netizens. One can change the information about a person, a place, or anything. Some errors are done with the intention to change the information while in some cases it is unintentional. On the other hand, there were those who are just for fun and most likely it is what happened to the photo of Pokwang in someone else’s name.

A netizen with Twitter user name @khenterrific discovered that Pokwang is now being referred to as the Miss Universe winner in 2001 in Wikipedia. The tweet contained a screenshot of the account of Denise Quiñones the real beauty queen who won the said title. However, it was Pokwang’s photo that was featured in the said article.
“Hindi talaga dapat ginagawang reference ang Wikipedia eh. Search n’yo #MissUniverse2001 si @pokwang27 ang winner. Hahaha,” the Twitter user wrote in the caption.
This received a comment from the comedienne who earlier confirmed that she will be leaving ABS-CBN. “Ang agaaa!!!! tawang tawa ako potah bwahahahahhahaaa,” she wrote.
Poet Juan Miguesl Severo, who is also an actor also commented and said, “Parang may laban naman po yung nasa picture.”
