Bolivia Health Minister Eidy Roca Becomes 3rd Cabinet Member To Test Positive for COVID-19
BOLIVIA HEALTH MINISTER – Eidy Roca tested positive for COVID-19 becoming the 3rd member of the cabinet to test positive for the disease.
The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected over 200 countries and territories. It even caused several nations to shut down their borders in the pursuit to curb the spread of the disease.
The coronavirus disease was first recorded in China last December 2019. A few weeks after, several other nations recorded their first cases of the disease.
Across the globe, the total COVID-19 cases recorded is over 11.5 million now. More than 500,000 people died of the disease while over 4.4 million have recovered from it.

The COVID-19 spares no one. Several prominent personalities were infected by the disease. Many of them were in the pursuit of halting its spread when they got infected.
In central South American country Bolivia, three (3) members of President Jeanine Anez tested positive for COVID-19. Based on a report, Bolivia health minister Eidy Roca was the third cabinet member to test positive for coronavirus.
According to President Anez, three (3) members of her cabinet tested positive for COVID-19 in just four (4) days. In a statement, she said that Eidy Roca’s in a stable condition. The Bolivia health minister is under isolation and medical care now.
Based on the report, the two (2) other members of the cabinet who tested positive for coronavirus were Presidential Minister Yerko Nunez and Mining Minister Jorge Fernando Oropeza.
Nunez has fever is currently confined in a hospital as to the officials. As for President Anez, she is currently on isolation at her house but work continues through online meetings.
