Boobay once again suffered from a silent seizure
Comedian Boobay shocked his audience at a recent event when something happened to him unexpectedly.
Boobay has been performing on TV, movies, and shows around the Philippines for many years already. His humor has entertained his audience from different walks of life.
However, in recent years, his shows were compromised because of his health issues. In an interview on Fast Talk with Boy Abunda in April 2023, the comedian talked about his health condition.
During that interview, he had a silent seizure that made veteran host Boy Abunda worried. After that, Boobay confirmed that he was told by GMA management to take a break.
In May 2024, the comedian once again suffered from a silent seizure when he was having a show in Aparri. Just recently, during his performance, once again, he had that unexpected moment.
Based on social media posts, this happened during the Falp Summer Outing last week. It was an event organized by Furukawa Automotive Systems LIMA Philippines, Inc.
In a video shared on Reddit, it can be seen that the event was outdoor and there was just a temporary roof or cover. It showed that Boobay kissed an audience member and after that, he continued walking the aisle.
After a few more steps, he returned toward the stage area but it can be seen on his face that there was already something off. His steps were becoming slower until he stopped and then almost fell. Luckily, the staff, as well as the person near him caught him before he totally fell.
With this, he was reminded by netizens to take a rest and take care of himself. “This is such a sad cycle. Need magpahinga para mabuhay pero need din magwork para mabuhay,” a netizen commented. Here are some comments.
