RICHARD GOMEZ – Veteran actor and now a politician Richard Gomez has this comment about the issues of Sharon Cuneta and daughter Frankie Pangilinan.
It all started with the argument between Frankie Pangilinan and Ben Tulfo about harassment. The megastar daughter stood her ground with her belief about the matter which is contrary to the thoughts of the veteran broadcaster. Then malicious comments from Sonny Alcos came where he expressed malicious threats against Frankie to which Sharon Cuneta, her mother, has reacted.
And accordingly during a live interview with Ogie Diaz, Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez has reacted to this indicating that there will always be some who they can please and some cannot. He also got a short temper to his critics but what he does is to delete them all and block them.
“Siguro tayong mga artista, we have to accept the fact na mayroong may gusto sa atin at mayroong ayaw,” he said. Even on the Megastar’s issue with a former friend, journalist Ronald Carballo, the actor turned politician stressed that it is her right to file a case.
He saw that an apology was sent to the veteran actress but to file charges following malicious statements and accusations against her and her family is her right. The actor said based on a report from PUSH, “That is her right kung ano ang gusto niyang ikaso. Pero parang nakita kong humingi na yata siya ng paumanhin, well it’s her right.”
Meanwhile, in terms of returning back to showbiz works despite his crucial role as Mayor of Ormoc City, Gomez said after his responsibility as a leader of a city, he will surely love to gpg back to acting.
