Kiko Pangilinan, Sharon Cuneta Backs Daughter Frankie Stands Against Ben Tulfo

Senator Frankie ‘Kiko’ Pangilinan and the mega star Sharon Cuneta supports their daughter Frankie against Ben Tulfo social media post.

The talk between the two prompted after the daughter of Senator Kiko Pangilinan and Sharon Cuneta, Frankie Pangilinan retweeted a statement from a Facebook post by the Lucban Municipal Police Station, which is now deleted. In the post said, women should refrain from wearing skimpy clothes to avoid harassment.

But after Frankie’s tweet Ben Tulfo one of the veteran journalists reacted. Ben Tulfo called Franki Pangilinan’s attention. He emphasized that a woman’s dress encourages the possibility of harassment.

After the statement of Ben to Frankie, she immediately changed her Twitter name to “hija” as she responded to Ben Tulfo’s tweet against her. Frankie opposed the point of Ben saying harassment occurs not based on the outfit worn, adding that women’s outfit is not an invitation to be harassed.

Meanwhile, her parents’ the Megastar Sharon Cuneta and Senator Kiko Pangilinan have shown their support to the stands of Franki against the veteran journalist. Senator Pangilinan sees himself to his daughter back when he was a student activist at the University of the Philippines.

Sharon, meanwhile, also supported her daughter fighting the women abused culture by re-iterating her daughter’s thoughts, which is not about what a person is wearing. She also noted that even children in formal clothes can still be victimized.
