Update on United States COVID-19 Cases, Deaths & Recoveries Now Amid the Pandemic

UNITED STATES COVID-19 CASES – Here is an update on the coronavirus cases, deaths, and recoveries in U.S. now.

The COVID-19 pandemic is not yet over. Everyday, there are still thousands of new cases recorded that it already alarmed the World Health Organization (WHO) with how rapid the spread of the infection is taking place.

According to WHO, it is going to be a longterm battle against the coronavirus. The people must not be complacent to prevent the occurrence of the 2nd wave.

This disease was first recorded in China last December 2019. Its epicenter was Wuhan City in Hubei Province. The city was locked for over two (2) months to curb the spread of the disease.

However, starting January 2020, several countries outside China recorded cases of COVID-19. WHO declared it as pandemic as its effect is far beyond what was expected of it.

Currently, the total COVID-19 cases recorded across the globe is at 9,187,277. Out of the said number, 474,307 patients died while 4,937,182 have recovered from the disease.

The United States COVID-19 cases is the highest so far. Based on the tally of Worldometer, U.S. recorded 2,388,153 cases of coronavirus with 122,610 deaths and 1,002,929 recoveries.

President Donald Trump has declared national emergency in U.S. Visibly, the President is disappointed over the response of WHO to the pandemic and he is vocal on blaming China over the spread of the disease.

Pres. Trump previously placed the U.S. budget for WHO on temporary freeze. He also warned to make it permanent if the performance don’t go well.
