Bacolod City Records New Case of COVID-19

BACOLOD CITY – The city recorded another case of coronavirus or COVID-19 bringing the total cases to 22 now.

It is one huge fight for the Philippines against an invisible enemy – the coronavirus or COVID-19. This disease has affected almost everything and everyone in the country.

Classes that were supposed to start this June were suspended. The public utility vehicles are on a reduced capacity. Social gathering and events usually attended by the crowd are not allowed.

Instead, the people are advised to stay at home if their reason to go out is not really essential. Everyone who goes outdoors must wear face mask to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and must practice social distancing as well.

Bacolod City

One of the cities with confirmed cases of COVID-19 is Bacolod City. It recently recorded another case of coronavirus bringing the total cases to 22 now.

Based on a report on Aksyon Radyo Bacolod, COVID-19 Patient No. 22 of Bacolod City is an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW). According to Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) against COVID-19 spokesperson Dr. Grace Tan, she is a 35-year-old woman who is in a quarantine facility.

According to the report, the result of her coronavirus test was released last night. The patient will have to stay in the isolation facility until the result turns out negative.

According to Dr. Tan, there are other test results expected to be released today. They were examined at Western Visayas Medical Center.
