She said the politicians asked the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) to implement similar policies.

Most of the people are now learning how to adapt to a new normal. Health experts always remind the public to maintain physical distancing while outside and avoid crowds. Senator Manny Pacquiao recently filed a bill called “New Normal Law.”

Based on a report from CNN, the managing director of the Coordinating Council of Private Educational Associations (COCOPEA), Joseph Noel Estrada, said teachers will undergo training in distance learning once the President ordered to lift the ECQ. He said it will be the “new normal.”

An association of private schools that represents 2,500 private schools nationwide said they have decided to limit the face-to-face classes. Estrada said 60% of the private schools are ready to launch their flexible learning option. He added that it will increase after the government allows educators to report for work.
