President Duterte Talks About What Will Happen After May 15

This is what will happen according to President Duterte after ECQ ends in May 15.

PRESIDENT DUTERTE – During his April 27, President Rodrigo Duterte talks about what will happen after ECQ would have to end on May 15.

Late night of April 27, President Rodrigo Duterte addressed the country and that was when he tackled about what will happen to the Philippines after May 15. This date is the end of extended enhanced community quarantine in some parts of the country which have high risk of COVID-19 transmission.

The president said that the government may allow some to partially open such as the construction. They just have to wait for the declaration of modified community quarantine after the ECQ ends. The selected sectors are those that can observe social distancing.

“Kasi kung magsiksikan kayo diyan sa LRT na naman, wala ng katapusan ang problema natin. It will never end and it will bring us down and down,” he said. In his speech, he will have to announce MCQ after the ECQ.

As much as we are all aware of, ECQ has been extended until May 15 in areas such as Metro Manila, Bataan, Bulacan, Nueva Ecija, Pampanga, Batangas, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Oriental Mindoro, Occidental Mindoro, Albay, and Catanduanes. The country now has 7,777 confirmed cases based on April 27 update of coronavirus-related figure from the Department of Health (DOH). 511 fatalities has been recorded and 932 have already recovered. Some area in the country, those that are identified under moderate or low risk are put under general community quarantine.
