ABS-CBN Network Reaction Over Support Received From GMA Stars

These GMA stars expressed support after the ABS-CBN network shut down and here’s their reaction to it.

ABS-CBN NETWORK – The ABS-CBN media company expressed gratitude to the Kapuso stars who supported the network despite their rivalry.

Kapuso stars such as Maine Mendoza, Kara David, Atom Araullo, Janine Gutierrez, Lovi Poe, Julie Anne San Jose, Bea Binene, and Gabbi Garcia are just some of those who expressed their support for ABS-CBN. This is after they were ordered to sign off due to expiration of their franchise.

“Kapuso, not just Kapamilya stars, have joined the growing chorus condemning the government closure of ABS-CBN’s broadcast operations, flooding social media with hearts in the color of the network’s iconic logo,” says the Kapamilya network in an article. They show appreciation and recognition to these stars from their rival network.

Moreover, it was added and written there that the show of solidarity came in terms of “attack on press freedom, to messages of hope” encouraging the network to overcome such challenge. Also, many people appreciated these messages from Kapuso stars supporting the network despite the rivalry.

As much as we are all aware of, the ABS-CBN and GMA are two of the biggest media companies in the country known for their rivalry. But at this time, the rivalry was put aside and empathy replaced.

Meanwhile, aside from losing a network for the meantime, the hearts of these celebrities also goes out to the network’s staff and crew who lost their job in a snap. But based on a previous article, Kapamilya host Bianca Gonzalez has revealed that the workers will still have jobs due to retrenchment.
