President Duterte lambasted Senator Antonio Trillanes on his live video: “Batukan mo raw ako? Sabihin ko sa driver ko sampalin ka”.
On Friday (April 24, 2020) President Rodrigo Duterte addressed the nation on a live video briefing amid the extension of enhanced community quarantine in Luzon and coronavirus outbreak in the country.
Mr. Duterte approved the suggestion of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases to extend the ECQ for another 15 days in Luzon and other parts of the country.
The Facebook page “Ang Malayang Balita” has shared the video footage of President Duterte making his speech regarding the extension of quarantine orders in the country. He also criticized Senator Antonio Trillanes IV.
In the video, it can be seen that Mr. Duterte is lambasting Trillanes for criticizing him on its previous statements. Duterte said “Batukan mo raw ako? Sabihin ko sa driver ko sampalin ka”. The president also said that he considers the level of Trillanes as a driver only.
