Here Is A List Of Services And Activities That Are Restricted in ECQ, GCQ Areas

ECQ – Here is a list of activities and services that are still prohibited in areas under enhanced or general community quarantine (ECQ / GCQ) areas.

Certain areas across the country will ease up their guidelines as they will step down from enhanced community quarantine to general community quarantine.

To know which areas are at a high, moderate, low risk and yet to be evaluated, you can check out the list here.

For those who do not know, general community quarantine, or GCQ for short, is basically a more loose and more ease version of ECQ. Certain services would continue, including construction projects, public transportation at a reduced capacity, and the like, and more.

A report from ABS-CBN News says that there are still services that are still prohibited in both levels of community quarantine, especially in GCQ or “new normal”.

As per the report, here are the following barred services and acivities:

  • Mass Gatherings
    • Entertainment
      • Theaters
      • Cinemas
      • Huge Concerts
      • Festivals
      • Carnivals
      • Conventions
      • Shows
      • Pubs and Bars
    • Business
      • Trade shows
      • Conferences
      • Conventions
      • Workshops
      • Retreats
    • Politics
      • Election Rallies
      • Polling Centers
      • Parades
      • Speeches or Addresses
    • Sports
      • Trainings
      • Games
      • Tournaments
      • Championships
    • Religious-Related
  • Cultural Activities
    • Libraries
    • Archives
    • Museums
    • Other Cultural-related Activities
  • Gambling and Betting Activities
  • Travel-Related Activities
    • Travel agencies
    • Tour Operators
