5 Men Take On TikTok Challenge To Celebrate Lifting Of Liquor Ban In Iloilo City
5 MEN – In Iloilo City, five men take on a viral TikTok challenge to celebrate the lifting of liquor ban.
The number of COVID-19 cases is the Philippines continues to rise despite the drastic measures taken by President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. He placed Luzon under “enhanced community quarantine” to slow the spread of the virus.
The government also imposed a total liquor ban during the ECQ. They only want the residents to prevent intoxication during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Recently, Iloilo City Mayor Jerry Treñas decided to lift the imposed liquor ban but he imposed the following conditions:
1.Prohibit of drinking liquor in public places
2.Observation of social distancing at all times if consuming alcoholic beverages.
Mayor Jerry Treñas is confident that lifting the liquor ban won’t affect their city’s peace and order situation. He said, “violators would be arrested and charged.”
Meanwhile, some residents celebrate after the liquor ban was lifted. Five (5) men moved to a popular TikTok Dance. The video was shared on the ‘Daily Guardian’s Facebook Page.
