ZAMBALES EARTHQUAKE – The Phivolcs recorded a 5.0 magnitude quake today, October 11, 2025. Here are the details.

Following the 7.4 magnitude earthquake that jolted Davao Oriental yesterday, another significant quake was recently recorded by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS), but this time, in Zambales.

According to the agency, the quake recently hit Zambales has a magnitude of 5.0.

Based on the data provided, the shaking occurred at 05:32:14 PM on Saturday, October 11, with location 15.26°N, 120.21°E – 019 km N 56° E of Cabangan. It has a depth of 100 kilometers and is tectonic in origin. Aftershocks are expected.

The reported instrumental intensities:

  • Intensity III – Cabangan and Iba, ZAMBALES
  • Intensity II – Calumpit, BULACAN; San Fernando, LA UNION; Guimba, NUEVA ECIJA; Bani, Dagupan City, PANGASINAN; Santa Ignacia, Tarlac City, and Ramos, TARLAC; Botolan, Subic and San Marcelino, ZAMBALES
