United States Records More Than 2,700 New Deaths Due to COVID-19

Update on the United States Coronavirus Death Toll

UNITED STATES – The authorities in U.S. recorded more than 2,700 new deaths due to COVID-19 or 2019 coronavirus.

Out of more than 200 countries battling against coronavirus outbreak, U.S. is on top of the list. The American nation is now under a national emergency as previously declared by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Along with the said declaration, a huge fund was released by the U.S. government for the healthcare system of the country. It is intended to fight the coronavirus outbreak which has also alarmed the U.S. President several days after he was initially unfazed about it.

The U.S. government assured the citizens to procure a lot of testing kits for the fight against COVID-19. For several days now, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country continued to soar.

Based on the global tally of Worldometer, there is now a total of 817,187 cases of coronavirus confirmed in U.S. It was after 24,428 new cases were recorded.

Sadly, the coronavirus death toll in the United States continues to increase as well. Based on the tally, 2,715 new COVID-19 deaths were recorded in the country. It brings the death toll to 45,229.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO), the fight against coronavirus is going to be a long-term battle. Most countries with confirmed cases limit the movement of the people to curb the spread of the infection.
