Warning: If You Get this FB Message Don’t Click

There are over 2 billion Facebook users worldwide. People young and old use this social media app to keep tabs on their friends, families, or favorite celebrities. It is also where we got the latest news.
However, there are wrongdoers who take advantage of this app. They use the social media app to scam you.
On Saturday, April, 11, RMN Iloilo posted on their Facebook Page regarding a link that currently spreads on the social media site. Based on their caption, the cybercriminals are grabbing the opportunity to hack FB accounts amid the 2019 novel coronavirus pandemic.
They said the link was sent via Messenger App. The new click-bait allegedly offers a 2-month subscription in the streaming site, Netflix.
According to the report, the message that was sent on Messenger was a phishing link. It directs the victim to a FB site asking them to log in to their FB account.
“Upon clicking “Continue”, your FB account will be forwarded to the database of the attacker and might eventually use it for their personal gain,” it wrote.
