Changes in the system of Twitter and Facebook has been confirmed recently.
Facebook and Twitter are two of the most used social media platforms.
Recently, there has been a vast problem of fake news going around the internet. Facebook and Twitter, together with other companies have taken actions to address this concern.
Annually, these social media platforms need to readjust features and programs to fit current trends and to address issues.
Facebook has recently decided to ban far-right activists following the event of thorough observation they have undergone.
The app was put under renewed scrutiny after it has apparently allowed hate groups to develop after New Zealand attack.
The government of Canada praised Facebook’s move to ban the said groups. Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen said:
“We’ve seen hate speech fuel the attack against Pittsburgh, at the synagogue, we’ve seen more recently in Christchurch, worshipers gunned down. This is real and it has consequences. And we’re very glad that Facebook has taken the actions that it has.”

The social networking site decided to ban well-known nationalists such as: Faith Goldy and Kevin Goudreau, whose positions were described as white supremacists, and other hate groups.
Twitter also had a few minor changes including ‘limiting the number of accounts a user can follow in one day’ in an attempt to fight spamming.
