GARY VALENCIANO – Kapamilya singer and OPM icon Gary Valenciano has this message for President Rodrigo Duterte amid the battle versus COVID-19.

In April 6 update from the Department of Health (DOH), 414 new cases of Coronavirus Diseases 2019 (COVID-19) in the Philippines has been recorded which basically bring us a total of 3,660 cases now. This comes along with 163 deaths recorded and 73 recoveries.

And the increase of number in terms of the infected persons, President Rodrigo officially declared the extension of enhanced community quarantine in Luzon until April 30. This means that people are forced to stay inside their house with limited movements.

And with everything that’s happening as the country combats coronavirus with the government exerting all their efforts, the OPM icon chose to look over criticisms and settled to express prayer for the country’s leader.

Meanwhile, in our fight against COVID, the president donates his one month salary as support for the government to curb the growth of the infected persons by the malevolent virus. Also, several cabinet members are donating 75% of their salaries all for the same reasons.

Several donations from big business, private sectors, and private individuals also flooded to be given to those who are affected and in dire need of food and other basic necessities to survive.
