According to Panelo, the president will support all of these once the country will have all the necessary equipment. As these cannot all be done without those. To recall, the Department of Health (DOH) rejected the mass testing proposal because the country has limited sources. The 100,000 testing kits are not enough for mass testing.

“Ang lahat ng iyan ay susuportahan ni Presidente kung nandiyan na iyong lahat ng kasangkapan. Kasi kung wala naman eh papaano natin maipapatupad iyon?” says Panelo to DZRH as per report from Manila Bulletin.

On Saturday, DOH’s tracker indicated that a total of 2,686 tests for COVID-19 have been conducted. The latest from DOH said that the country already reached the 1000-mark of confirmed COVID cases in the country reaching a total of 1,418 and with 71 deaths. Meanwhile, the recoveries reached 42.

As of this posting, in order to contain the spread of the virus, many provinces and areas have declared enhanced community quarantine outside Luzon which was implemented to the entirety of it. As such are Negros Occidental, Cebu Province, specific areas in Luzon, and among others.

  1. Agree ako jan para malaman at ma isolate agad ang mga infected at para magamot, yan ang magandang paraan para ma resolba ang problema. Kahit malake ang gastos, wala yun sa nawawala sa kita ng bansa sa araw araw na lockdown.
