Philippine Senator Sonny Angara is positive of coronavirus disease.
SONNY ANGARA – Philippine Senator Sonny Angara is the third senator to have tested positive of the contagious Coronavirus Disease 2019.
Senator Migz Zubiri was the first ever senator who contracted the novel coronavirus from the senate. Senator Aquilino Pimentel III then followed him as the second one to have the virus and even created ire when he did not follow some protocols regarding the crisis.
And now, the third one to be positive for this new strain of coronavirus which attacks the respiratory and could be severe to other cases, is Senator Sonny Angara. According to a Twitter post from Rappler.
As of this writing, the COVID-19 confirmed cases in the Philippines have already hit 636 with 38 deaths and 26 recoveries. Meanwhile, the increasing number of infected persons in the country has brought fear and threats to many people. The whole PH is now under state of calamity and several cities, towns, and provinces have also declared enhance community quarantine.
