COVID-19 STORY – A certain Taho vendor is not aware of the coronavirus disease and he even wonders why most streets are empty.

Over the past few months, the coronavirus disease has become the headlines of numerous news companies after it rapidly spreads in various countries all around the world affecting thousands of people.

COVID-19 has been also one of the most discussed topics on social media after the virus triggered fear and panic to the Filipino people. Most people are already observing home quarantine to avoid being infected by the deadly virus.

Recently, a Facebook user named Gillie Rojas has shared the photo of a Taho vendor who is not aware of coronavirus disease although it is the most discussed topic worldwide. The post is now circulating online.

Rojas wrote on her post that she is distributing food packs when the vendor asked her why most streets are empty. She was shocked after discovering that the man had no idea what’s happening to the world.

While we were giving out food packs, an old guy selling on the sidewalk asked “Dai, ngaa waay tawo subong ang dalan? Holiday dai?” I really didn’t know how to answer him. I couldn’t bear thinking that a number of our kababayan aren’t aware of what’s happening.It’s just really sad.
