Angkas Launches Food Delivery Service To Help Riders Amid Quarantine

Angkas Launches ‘Angkas Food’ Amid Community Quarantine

ANGKAS – Motorcycle taxi company Angkas has ventured into the food delivery service to help its riders amid the community quarantine.

Lots of people consider food delivery services godsend because it saves us time and helps people who don’t have time to cook or prepare their food. Due to the novel coronavirus outbreak, more people now rely on food delivery services.

Last week, GrabFood and Foodpanda’s services stopped for hours due to the implementation of the enhanced community quarantine, but they went back to business later and announced that they will continue to operate and cater to the needs of Filipinos during the crisis.

On Monday, the motorcycle taxi company ‘Angkas’ launched their ‘Angkas Food’ to help their employees earn despite the “enhanced community quarantine.” The ride-hailing company said they will not take a commission from its riders.

“Guys legit to, gumawa kami ng food delivery service oha. But this isn’t for us. Para to sa mga bikers at sa inyo. We will NOT take any commission in this initiative. Sa kanila lahat to.”

How Angkas Food works:

  1. Call the restaurant
  2. Pay the restaurant for the order. Use cashless if possible.
  3. Leave your contact details with the restaurant.
  4. Meet the biker upon arrival.
  5. Pay for the order (if COD), delivery fee, and any parking fee if applicable.
