Viral Netizen Who Allegedly Spreads Virus Apologize for Insensitive Post

The viral lady netizen who proudly shares she’s spreading the virus in Silay, Negros Occidental apologizes after being criticized online.

Recently, Daphne Keng, the viral lady netizen earned criticism from the netizens after proudly sharing that she’s spreading the virus in Silay, Negros Occidental. A concerned netizen exposed her insensitive tweets and post in her account.

Keng allegedly bypass quarantine checkpoints and skips temperature check amid stricter enforcing safety measures. According to the post captured, she proudly says in Ilonggo that many praises her and nobody knows that she is already spreading the virus in Silay.

Meanwhile, after she became viral on Facebook, she received criticisms and elicited comment for her insensitive post. As a result, she post a statement on her Facebook account explaining her side.

According to Keng’s post, her tweets were purely sarcasm and harmless. “From my perspective, my tweets were purely sarcasm and harmless, but to everybody else, I can see that they’re extremely distasteful, ignorant, and insensitive,” she wrote.

She said that she regrets all of what she have done “If only I could take them all back, trust me, I would, in a heartbeat.” Keng also claimed that she is not the person who spreads the virus in Silay, “And just to clear my name out, the Silay spitting part isn’t me, as what most assume.”

However, after her apology post, netizens still condemned her and criticize her.
