Update About the Records of DOH on the Confirmed Coronavirus Cases in the Philippines
DOH – The Department of Health confirmed 13 new cases of the 2019 novel coronavirus in the Philippines.
The authorities and the citizens in the Philippines now are monitoring the updates on the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19 in the country. Measures are implemented to curb its spread.
It is visible in what happened to Italy and China that coronavirus can really result to the worst situations – that includes mass deaths. That is why the government and the respective agencies spearheaded by the Department of Health are seeking the cooperation of the public.
Social distancing is highly sought from the citizens. As mush as possible, everyone is encouraged to stay in their households to prevent contracting the virus.
According to Department of Health (DOH), 13 new cases of the coronavirus were recently confirmed. It brings the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases to 230.
The health department also noted that there is one (1) additional death. The coronavirus death toll now is 18 and there are eight (8) patients of the disease who have already recovered.
