4 Brooklyn Nets Players Positive for Coronavirus – Kevin Durant Is Reportedly One of Them

KEVIN DURANT – The basketball star is reportedly one of the Brooklyn Nets players who tested positive for coronavirus.

Currently, most countries are fighting against the 2019 novel coronavirus or COVID-19. It has caused the locking down of some nations to curb the spread of the disease like what Italy did.

The COVID-19 first emerged in China, specifically in the city of Wuhan in Hubei province. In less than two (2) months, an outbreak broke and over 70,000 people in China were infected.

The said disease reached several other countries across the globe. Globally, over 198,000 infected cases and near 8,000 deaths were recorded due to COVID-19.

Among the large international teams affected by the COVID-19 is the Brooklyn Nets. The team, in a statement, confirmed that four (4) of its cagers tested positive for coronavirus.

Based on a report on CNN, Kevin Durant is one of the Brooklyn Nets players who is positive for coronavirus. In their statement, it was stated that three (3) are showing no symptoms while one (1) got signs. It is unclear whether Durant belongs to the three (3) asymptomatic cagers or not.

The organization called out to those the team had a contact with to work closely with the authorities. Here is the Brooklyn Nets statement:
