Bacolod Girl Arrested For Drinking Past Curfew, Says She Is Heartbroken

HEARTBROKEN GIRL FROM BACOLOD – As COVID-19 hit the Philippines, the government has imposed countermeasures against the spread of the virus.

Bacolod Community Quarantine

Recently, President Rodrigo Duterte declared an “Enhanced Community Quarantine” in the entirety of Luzon. Likewise, places such as Bacolod City followed as well.

In addition to the quarantine which restricts travel, a curfew has been placed in the city from 10 pm until 4 am. However, some residents still risk exposure to go out drinking.

As such, 8 individuals from Bacolod City were arrested on the first night of the curfew. According to a report from TV Patrol Negros, the suspects were caught drinking on the streets of Barangay Sum-ag.
