Filipino Covid Patient Recovers, DOH Confirms On Monday

DOH confirmed that a Filipino Covid patient recovered.

FILIPINO COVID PATIENT – Department of Health confirmed that a Filipino patient positive of coronavirus disease recovered, Monday, March 16.

On Monday, the Department of Health (DOH) announced and confirmed that a Filipino who previously tested positive of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) recovered. This gave a light of hope to the alarming and threatening effects of the pandemic virus.

Accordingly, the patient is a 46-year-old male called PH14. He showed symptoms of the disease such as cough and fever on February 25, 2020. The patient got admitted at Makati Medical Center on March 5 and tested positive four days after admission, March 9.

Now, this particular patient tested negative twice and already asymptomatic. Previously, the DOH also informed the public that two patients of whom are both Chinese nationals also recovered from the disease in the Philippines.
